Policies  

Booking and Cancellation Policy 

A credit card is required to book an appointment at Canvas Salon. 

Canvas Salon asks for 24 hours notice for any cancellation or to reschedule any appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, and any appointment that is no-showed, is subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Please review all policies below. If you are not comfortable with our policies, please allow 24 hours for your cancellation, as ALL late cancellations, reschedules and no-shows are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.  

Late Arrivals 
We have a 10 minute grace period for late arrivals for services longer than 30 minutes, and a 5 minute grace period on services 30 minutes or less. It is possible that if you arrive past the grace period for your appointment, your stylist may not be able to perform your service, or may have to reduce the service your receive, in order to stay on time for the rest of the day. In the case that your appointment needs to be rescheduled, you will be subject to the cancellation fee.  

Payment and Refunds 

Payment is due at the time of service. We do not offer refunds, but instead we will be happy to correct any mistakes. In the case that you are not in love with your service, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. For Hair Services we will offer corrections within 1 week, Nail Services within 5 days, and for Esthetics and Spray Tans, 3 days. 

Spray Tans 

Female guests over the age of 18 may choose to wear no clothing if they are comfortable doing so. Female guests under 18, and all Male guests are required to wear clothing/swimwear that covers all “private parts”. No exceptions. You will be emailed instructions for how to prep for your tan in order to receive the best results. Failure to follow these instructions may result in an uneven tan, discoloration, or a quicker fading tan.  

Nails 

Since we do not use e files (Drills), we do not remove Dip or Acrylic. Please remove any glue on nails, acrylic or dip before your appointment. We have the right to refuse service to any client with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious or anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area. 

Esthetics (Lashes, Brows, Waxing) 

Please inform your service provider of any allergies you may have, or any previous reactions you have had in the past. Also, please inform us of any medications you have been on in the past 6 months, as reactions may occur.  

Health and Safety 

Please inform your service provider of all allergies, illnesses or injuries before your service. Canvas Salon LLC and its employees are not liable for any allergic reactions you may have to the products used during any of your services. Canvas Salon follows all TDLR rules and regulations outlined for sanitation. In addition to all TDLR rules and regulations, we ask all clients and staff not to come to the salon if they have symptoms of, or have knowingly been exposed to a contagious illness. 

Respect 
We ask that all clients, guests and staff of Canvas Salon treat all other clients, guests, and staff with respect. Disrespectful clients and guests may be asked to leave and not return. Clients and guests who do not follow our policies may also be asked not to return.  

Children and Pets  

We love your children and pets, but we ask that if your child is not receiving a service, and if your pet is not a service animal, that you make arrangements for them while you visit our salon.
